> 3 dayEver since I first used an NVMe drive (like 4 or 5 years ago) I could not imagine using a traditional or SSD hard drive again. My first one still works GREAT, and I got this for a build I put together for my son. First, cable management. Wait ... no cables with NVMe. Problem solved... Poor cable management can make your case look like a mess, but more importantly it can obstruct airflow and cause performance issues. Second, Installation. Just be sure to install on the motherboard before putting anything else on there. The screw is tiny, and once the hard drive is on its never in the way. If you have a compatible motherboard installation is easy. If not, there is a PCI-e adapter that can be purchased if you have a PCI-e slot available. Ive never used the adapter, but its still easier to install than dealing with cables. Third, PRICE. Some might say this should come first, but for me that all depends on quality. If I pay $25 bucks for something that breaks when I need it, I wasted my money. This was low cost with lots of good reviews. Ive been using it for several weeks, and is working like a champ, and I expect it to continue to work well for the next several years.

> 3 dayMy initial rating is based on speed & price -- 5 stars. Only time will tell how TIMETEC SSD will endure regular use. A speed test proved that it passed the described Up to 550mbps (see pictures). Now the 800TBW the jury is still out. My oldest & 1st SSD is the 120GB Crucial - I installed that as a Win OS back in 2013, its now running Win10, the drive will be 10yrs old in a month or so. I have 4 Inland Professional SSD all are over 5yrs old & are still running fine. This is the 1st time I heard of TIMETEC also the most affordable one I found, hopefully it will surpass 5yrs of regular use as well. Will update as time goes on. With 2 days in, it will be a while.

Greater than one weekNever heard of TimeTec before but decided to take a chance. The 1TB SSD is performing perfectly It’s faster than my previous HD which was not an SSD but a seagate internal drive. No latency in the Audio DAW and no frame skipping and buffering on the video editor. Just using Garage Band and imovie .Amazing frustration free performance by the TimeTec SSD I had a very hard time using the slow seagate regular hard drive. SSD is the way. Thank you TimeTec for your fantastic SSD Highly recommend and will order one more

> 3 dayI have no complaints or concerns so far. However, I use these as usb boot up hard drives for many Linux Raspberry Pi 4, fours that I am programming. I bought this one to setup the Raspberry pi OS to bootup thru a usb port so I could program on my Asus X200ca laptop. I ran into issues with the bios which doesnt allow because I learned the bios firmware needs to be updated to permit the temp change. Still researching how to do this, as I tried all that I found on Youtube and no luck so far. This M.2 drive is very reliable for many uses.. Thank you Timetec! Joe Garofalo Boca Raton, Fl

Greater than one weekUnderstand what youre buying before you complain about it. Its a 3d nand tlc drive, its not going to be spectacular. If youre still on a mechanical drive for some reason in 2020, switching to this SSD is better. If you want faster speeds, get an NVMe or Samsung brand SSD.
