Timken 6203-2RSC3 6203-2RS Deep Groove Ball Bearing 17x40x12mm

Replaced lower drive wheel bearings on Rikon 10-325 bandsaw and they fit perfectly. No way to tell how long they will last; the original bearings froze due to sawdust contamination.

I used this 6203-2RS bearing to replace the 6203-Z bearing on the motor of our treadmill. I replaced both the front and rear bearings on the motor shaft, as the motor had gotten very loud when in use. With the new bearings in place, the treadmill motor is MUCH quieter, and working great!

You pay a few extra dollars for this brand, but you get a quality bearing that should last. Tolerances are good too.

Bought for my John Deere Ride mower, 48 deck, 3 cutting blades, 2 bearings per spindle. Factory bearings did not last very long, even with regular greasing. Hour wise these have lasted 2 X as long and still going. Never know that you get what you pay for, until you have a true comparison.... Rusty

Timken is an American brand if you consider it was founded in the United States and head quartered in North Canton, Ohio (Wikipedia). The bearing is described as American Brand. Thus, leaving where its made as a complete mystery. When the 6203-2RSC3 6203-2RS bearing arrived neither the box nor wrapper nor bearing had any indication of country of origin. I ordered another bearing from Texas Cargo on AMAZON Timken 6203-2RS Bearing 17mm x 40mm x 12mm Made in USA.... That bearing had nearly identical packaging, the wrapper was a little more substantial and the bearing did say USA.

I like Timken quality. I used it on the idler pulley on my pickup. Cheaper bearings wouldnt hold up.
