> 3 dayI chose this glue because I am a segmented bowl maker and wanted a bonding agent of high quality. This product has not failed me once. In the gluing process it cleans up nicely with water and a damp cloth. The price is right when you buy in bulk. I highly recommend it for the wood worker interested in a quality glue.

> 3 dayI always come back to titebond. I recently slipped and bought some gorilla wood glue thinking it would be just as good or better.. unfortunately I was disappointed and came right back to using titebond. It’s more expensive but will save you so much time in the end. The glueing stage is so important for any project and you should be using the best product available.

> 3 dayI use T3 for general woodworking, but its particularly good for cutting boards. It sets up overnight so I can plane the next day. Its waterproof and Ive never had a glue joint failure.

Greater than one weekHave used this to glue wood-to-wood only so far and it has worked great. Ive glued end-grained 2x4s together (cut at a 45 degree angle to form a frame) and they bonded tightly after sitting for the recommended 24 hours. Also glued (2) pieces along the grain. I wiped each piece first and lightly wet it with a painting sponge, then applied a thin film of TITEBOND III to each adjoining face. One thing I learned is not to waste a ton of glue. The glue bonds better to wood than to itself, so you need very little, just enough to fill in any grain and touch wood on both sides. If you can imagine this at the microscopic level, imagine a wood molecule touching a glue molecule and then another wood molecule on the opposite side, not tons of additional glue molecules. Hopefully that makes sense.

13-06-2025I now use this glue for both interior and exterior work, whether or not a waterproof glue is required. Though more expensive, it spreads better than any glue I have ever used--its consistency is perfect. And the open time is longer. I read on another site that it has a break strength of 4000 psi--as strong as urethane glues, and a whole lot less messy. Finally, it sands off more easily than other glues. Considering that the cost of the glue is minor relative to your whole project, its well worth the extra pennies. A good glue job is practically invisible, and this glue really facilitates it.

> 3 dayMake sure you dont need to move the wood once you glue it. It sets up very quickly! I made some cutting boards and used this glue. It appears to have worked great. It sets quickly, dries quickly, and seems like it will hold up. Also, it is non-toxic. You may wish to get a bottle with a squirt top for better application and use this big bottle for refills.
