I guess I didnt look at the picture close enough to realize that the gasket comes up to the knee. My bandaging is not that tall so this is larger than I need. I also noticed drops of water on the inside after use but this may have come during the removal. The gasket is very tight and was a challenge to get down my leg since it was like wearing a tourniquet.

We highly recommend the boot. No leaks and easy to get on.

This cast cover was phenomenal. It has a rubber opening so it seals out all the water. I was able to shower with a cast on my leg and never get the cast wet.

I read the reviews for this product & ordered it before my Achilles Tendon surgery, even though I didn’t think it would actually keep a bandaged leg dry. Everyone laughed at me for ordering it. Well, it does work. No water leaks through even when the shower hose is aimed at your leg. It is pretty simple to stretch over your bandaging & my is a very heavily wrapped J-splint. I am able to get it on & off by myself. If you need to cover a lower extremity bandage, splint, or cast buy this, or enjoy your sponge baths & dry shampoo.

This shower leg protector is made of a heavier plastic than what you find at the local drugstore. It is a long thick plastic bag that has a tight rubber gasket at the top of the bag with a plastic ring holding the gasket in place. I had major foot surgery. Instead of a cast the Doctor thickly bandaged my foot and gave me an orthotic boot/shoe to wear. There is no way a leg cast can fit in this leg shower bag. I had to remove my orthopedic boot and use both hands to get the gasket collar open enough to safely put my bandaged foot in the bag. If you dont open the gasket collar enough it will put pressure on your injured foot and can cause pain. If youre not careful removing the bag your bandages will get wet. This leg shower bag is a lot better than any from the drug store or the ones sold at the big American Supercenters pharmacy department. Its also superior to using a kitchen trash bag .

Worked great and kept everything dry. Easy to dry off. Only downside is that the opening is very tight.

I purchased this product after having surgery on my foot for multiple fractures. It works perfectly, keeps your wound/dressing/cast completely dry in the shower. No moisture whatsoever.
