We also purchased the matching lunch bag; I love that it clips to the front of the backpack or fits into the main compartment, depending on what you have to pack each day. > 24 hourThis is perfect for a small tot. My daughter is 2 1/2 and loves this back pack. We also purchased the attachable lunch box. I purchased this for her to use as a small carry-on for travel, but Im finding that we use it much more frequently. It replaces a diaper bag or tote. I can use a small purse again for me and then we carry the things she needs in this. Large, easy pull zipper makes it easy for her to open and close on her own. Great size for a small tot to carry as long as you dont overpack toys, etc. (watch the weight). Keeps her busy when were out. She loves packing and unpacking it.
