I got this purely based on the fact that Ive had good experiences with Tomtoc branded stuff previously (I didnt even really need a controller case that badly) but wow these have just been absolutely perfect! I loved the first case I got so much, I actually ordered a second one just to keep around the house for when I need to bring extra controllers with me for game nights. I LOVE that they included the charging port hole in the top so you can still charge your controller while inside here. That level of thought-fullness and good design definitely makes these better than any of the other 6 controller cases for PS5 controllers Ive tried on Amazon. Highly recommended.

This is exactly what I needed. I travel a lot and like to remote play through my iPad. With this, I can throw my controller in a bag and not worry about damaging it or running the battery down. There is zero wiggle room in this case, so the controller won’t get scratched up. I do sort of wish they sold it without the charging hole though. I don’t use that feature, so for me it’s just a place for dirt to get in.

I purchased this so that I can travel with my PS5 controller and play games on my tablet in airports and on airplanes. If you are worried about damaging your controller if you ever put it in your backpack, pick this case up. The plastic it is made of feels like quality plastic. The locking latch on the case also gives a satisfying and solid *thunk* when closing or opening it. My only complaint, as you can see in the picture, is that when closed, there is still a bit of a gap in the case when closed. I know that the controller I have in there has been reshelled, but I have tried several controllers, 2 of which are OEM PlayStation controllers. I assume that it is just this case I was sent. I purchased the same case for an Xbox controller and this was not the case. Regardless of the issue, I would still recommend this to anyone.

This is nice & sturdy! Analog Sticks cannot be clicked in transit like soft case; I travel with mine in a smaller teardrop backpack with my iPad Pro 12.9 for work. I will be ordering a 2nd one ASAP! How does nobody else offer this? I was not paid for this review, 99% legit, 1% high & I think the birds are watching me….

This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I have one gripe and one concern. Gripe: theres a loop for a lanyard, however it is tiny. It needs to be a little larger and more sturdy. I would like to be able to clip it to something. Hopefully I will be able to find a solution that works for me. Concern: Im worried about the toughness after long-term use. I dont know if it will hold up. Even with these issues I like it a lot and it makes throwing my Dualsense in a bag a non-issue.

This PS5 case is one of the best out there. How do I know? I dropped mine, with the controller still inside on a hard floor. Im not recommending this, but the case did not open or break, and the controller was not damaged from the fall. That sells it for me. The case is translucent, not clear. I wanted something I could tote around in my backpack, without messing up the buttons from the other equipment I tote around daily. This fits the controller perfectly, and keeps the buttons safe. The blue clip opens and closes snug with a click so you know its secure. You can charge your controller inside the case with a charge cable. That was a cool feature that also won my purchase. This case is top notch. Non scratch exterior, and there is no padding inside but it wont matter. The case does its job. Score.

Not a bad case. Like that I can charge while its protected. Only issue is the fact I use lizard skins and it is beyond a snug fit. Still a fit but only just.
