I bought 2. One in great room 1 in kitchen. So convenient to use and you always know where the plug is.

The tamper proof portion of the regular outlet broke and won’t allow plug to be inserted. It was the first time trying that portion of the outlet and so I don’t know if it arrived broken or broke while trying to use it. Whichever, it didn’t last one week. Would not recommend !!!

THe USB C rapid charges my Pixel great.

put one in my kitchen and one in the bedroom, the type C port is blazing fast on my Note 8 battery. Love it!

Problem installing because they are so large. Comes too close to the sides of a normal switch box. Danger of shorting.

Wall outlet charger with usb c and usb socket, too convenient, my ipad and mobile phone can charge at the same time.

If I knew more about TR (Tamper Resistant) receptacles before I purchased these I would have selected another brand. The TR plugs make it very difficult and in some cases impossible to use some plugs, including new appliances and electronic devices. For example, my new MacBook Pro cannot be plugged into the TR receptacles but older appliances and plugs can work after spending time wiggling and jiggling the plugs into place. The TR plugs are really a huge pain and since we have no children in our home offer no benefit. The installation was very difficult due to the oversized outlet with almost no room for wiring in the box. If possible use a multi-gang box where only one receptacle is one of these outlets to leave room for wiring.

Easy to install as any other outlet. However, after about two months the USB-C port stopped working. The USB-A works fine. Disappointed to have spent so much on an outlet that has now lost the functionality I bought it for over a standard $3 outlet. Going forward I will probably stick to established brands such as eaton or leviton.

Recently bought an iPad that uses USB C connectors. I charge my devices mainly at two locations in the house. (Note: five outlets already have USB A ports.) Forrunately, one multiple adapter I purchased from Amazon that is under the couch already had 2 USB A and 1 USB C ports. So the one I replaced is by the bed. Easy to install (I am a 75 year-old grandmother of 10, admittedly with lots of building/dyi experience) and has very clear directions. Both ports and outlets function perfectly. Loved that the outlet cover included also came in ivory, which matches all our other outlets. PS I am going to put the one I took out in place of a second outlet in the guest bedroom, which does not have USB. A win/win.

The white face overlay on the outlet has flimsy clips that arrived broken.
