Toshiba Canvio Flex 2TB Portable External Hard Drive USB-C USB 3.0, Silver for PC, Mac, & Tablet - HDTX120XSCAA

I purchased this external hard drive to back up my Macbook Air 2000. Rather than purchase a lower-priced item that would require reformating for a Mac, I upgraded to the Canvio Flex. It worked perfectly. I didnt have to reformat and the cable fit my Mac perfectly. I logged into Macs Time Machine and it was seamless. Great product.

The size is so compact, most of the time I forget it is there. I love it! I have doubled my storage space without the big bulky tower.

I purchased this rather than less expensive options because it was listed as a solid state drive - but it is not! I think this is highly problematic

I so love this device! The storage and speed are amazing! Its so portable and it works with both my MAC and PC to transfer and store photos from both my different computers. I ended up buying two because I am a photographer and need a lot of storage. 4T is huge and I still havent filled one up yet but I decided to use one for family backups and the other for my wild horse photos, as Im a documenter for the American Wild Horse Campaign. :-) Reasonable price for such a great device. Its so much faster than my WD drive which fails every 3 years or less. AND this Toshiba drive runs COOL. I dont mean its cool - which it is - I mean not hot. I LOVE IT... Its writing speeds are awesome: WD 700 mb/sec TOSHIBA just went over 1.6GB/s

After ordering & returning Seagate drive, got this Toshiba drive. Worked like a dream with both PC & Mac, copying files easily like its supposed to right out of the box.

Works great and is easy to use. Can plug into all devices.. TV, computer.... Lightweight

I use this for Time Machine backups on my Mac. It’s fast, stays cool, and is unobtrusive. 4TB capacity is plenty for me. Just right!
