Requires experience with disassembly of PSP 1001 model. With that the part does function completely.

I knew my screen needed changed but was very surprised by how much crispier the color and resolution were. Well worth the price if youre looking for a screen.

If you are able to make these type of repairs, this screen is good for the money. Now we can play our psp again. I recommend this replacement screen.

My kids had a broken screen on their PSP. I tried to have it fixed, and the cost was more than a replacement. I wasnt willing to spend that kind of money on such an old game system, so I decided to try to replace it. I found a YouTube video and bought this. It took fifteen minutes, and the PSP works. Ive never done anything like this, but its a very simple fix. Five screws and a little metal strip hold the screen in. You do need a precision tool kit, but theyre cheap.

I am blown away by this, so I ordered this as I am working on restoring my psp to a playable state, and when I got it the screen was cracked on the right side , this of course was frustrating but its understandable these LCD screens are super fragile even though they came packed really well in foam it still wouldnt take much to crack the screen. anyways I got online as soon as I noticed it was broken and after a short chat with the support team they sent me a free replacement and even sent it out with faster shipping, it was expected to be here 2 days after the replacement was ordered but it ended up at my door that next day. the replacement works fantastically it is so good to see my psp screen working again!! great price fairly easy to install just follow youtube guides
