If you would like the convenience and flexibility of a duffle-style travel bag, but you want something more durable and not as cheap looking as the ballistic nylon ones, this could be your solution. I particularly like the extra pockets. Where bags like this normally just have one pocket on each end and one on the side, this one a total of five pockets on the outside - each end, two on one side, one on the other. Plus there are a couple of open pockets on the inside,and one zippered on the inside. The expandable area on the sides helps the flexibility. Zipped up, this will fit in the overhead of just about any airline. Expanded, its still okay for larger overhead compartments. With all that, its still not too heavy. This is now my go to bag for short trips of a day or two. I also use it as a supplementary bag on longer trips, letting it ride on a piece of wheeled luggage. The zippers seem better quality than the usual canvas bags. The handles are sturdy too.

I use this bag approximately 5 days a week to take to the gym. I enjoy the fact that it is expandable for width. I can carry a full change of clothes and all my accessories. It is also washable which is a big plus. The extra pockets come in handy for organization as well. Recommend it.

Best bag on Amazon for travelling. In two years of weekly travel there has been ZERO signs of wear. All zippers hold up well and the material of the bag is very much quality.

I got the bag for a weekend getaway bag, but will use this as a cabin bag when I travel to the UK. I need a bag that is going to stand up to a lot of travel and being thrown around, but that is not heavy or cumbersome and think I found it. The bag is really well made and is sturdy. It has loads of pockets inside and out and it can be unzipped to expand 2” on each side for extra storage. It is surprisingly light and it folds up to a compact square so I can hide it away in my closet. The fabric is nice, hard wearing canvas and has industrial zippers with good length zipper tags for adult sized hands. It has rubber feet on the bottom so I feel less squeamish about setting it on the ground and I can throw the bag in the washer on a cold cycle. It looks great, is really good value and makes an elegant gym bag or a nice weekend getaway bag.

I’m a first responder and work 24 hour shifts. This bag perfectly holds my extra uniforms and toiletries for my shifts and I haven’t even unzipped the extensions! So far it’s held up great and I would definitely recommend.

I was searching all over the place for a reasonably priced, attractive bag. Dual use as a gym duffel and an overnight bag. When I saw this for under $30 I was skeptical. Way too classy for the price, so it must be poor quality. I took the risk, and Im glad I did. I use the front zipper pocket for all my toiletries. And there are two large side zipper pockets, one of which I use for dirty clothes after the gym. While the inside of the bag is not huge, it easily fits 1-2 days worth of clothes and a pair of shoes. Im tempted to buy one of the other colors for my next bag in case they stop making these. Great buy. Not to mention, lots of compliments.

Great bag, but I dont like rating a duffel bag on sturdiness with a 5 star system. In the event of a zombie apocalypse would your first thought be to jam a door with a duffel bag or would you pick almost anything else? A duffel bag is not sturdy by definition unless they mean durability, in which case - why have durability as another category? Merriam-Webster definition: a soft oblong bag for personal belongings Even the sturdiest duffel bag can only aspire to be sturdy. It looks upon other types of bags with wonder, hope and sometimes jealousy at their superior sturdiness. You get 4 stars for sturdiness - *at best* - duffel bag. I give you 3. Why? Because there must be a sturdier duffel bag out there. It is a 5 star bag and might even be my favorite bag of all time. It has 5 star durability and is a 5 star bag for traveling but it is a 3 star bag in sturdiness because it is made of cloth and collapses. You should buy the bag if you like the looks of it because the quality of the zippers and the bag itself are amazing. I beat the hell out of it and it looks the same as when I bought it. Just dont buy it to stand on to reach anything high up.

This has been a durable and convenient duffel. It has accompanied me on many trips and is no worse for the wear. I dont abuse it, but neither do I baby it -- it is a working bag. I personally have not found the expansion gussets particularly useful, as the opening becomes rather small in comparison when they are expanded. Thats fine if youre packing it full of clothes, but if you want to expand it to get a larger item in, getting it in and back out through the opening can become inconvenient. This does not detract from the value of the bag, but it is not the same as simply having a larger bag. For the price, I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
