Travelpro Platinum Elite Carry-On Rolling Garment Bag

> 3 dayFor a bag of this price and “supposed” quality, the zippers should be better. After only 1 trip I am concerned that because they decided to go cheap instead of using the famous Japanese YKK brand that I wonder if this bag will make it 10 trips. Especially the outside pocket zippers seem to be a concern. While I am posting this is there anyone that owned one of these that can tell me that adding something - - beeswax? – WD-40? – ANYTHING? will help improve these? I traded in a 10 year old Patagonia bag for this bag and am hoping that this one will make it through 2 years!

> 3 dayI travel on business, and I check a bag because I need my suits to arrive looking good, not crammed in a carry-on. The stress is always the lost bag arriving the day after a meeting... this carry on garmet bag is fantastic. It isnt soft - its stiff, so it wont get crushed in the bin. It rolls, easy to go through the airport. It has side slots/compartments to stick things in while working at the gate, like your laptop. Smooth, sturdy, high quality. If needed to be checked, it can withstand that beating too. It looks great, the garment bag -- my suit arrives for that next day meeting in perfect shape, and I can travel with just this carry on for one day. Outstanding, great investment.

> 3 dayWhen I travel, its usually for work and that means suits or jackets and pants. I have a carryon with a small suiter but it can only carry a couple of shirts or maybe one jacket. This bag is extremely well designed and very well made. The zippers are curved for easy gripping and they are good quality as well zipping and unzipping easily. I use it domestically and have not had any trouble carrying it on but I think the requirement for international, at least with some vendors is 19, so it may not work on international flights. Its not a spinner and I appreciate that as some spinners have tiny wheels that roll poorly on carpets and stairs. This has two big wheels and I prefer that much more. I usually buy Tumi but Im finding TravelPro to be about as hearty and now more detail oriented. Highly recommend this bag.

> 3 dayIts ok. I would buy a bigger version for bag check if they would just make one with spindle wheels instead of the dragger type that are crappy.

> 3 dayThe 1st time it was used the zipper was broken on the front flap. Travel pro makes it impossible le to get service or repair. Never buy their products.

> 3 dayBy far the best carry on luggage. This is my 2nd one. First one lasted me over 7 years, and to be honest, only thing wrong with that one was that it was looking a little worn and the handle was a little finicky to get up and down. Will get the old one repaired and hand down to my son. I am able to go for a week on business with a couple of suits with no problem. This bag is a beast!

> 3 dayProduct dimensions as stated on the web site are not accurate. Actual bag is larger. Worst part? I had to pay return shipping. I wont be buying anymore Travelpro products in the future.

> 3 dayOverall the bag is great: quality construction, nice leather accents, sturdy telescopic handle - just aesthetically pleasing and very well made. However, there is room for improvement and some missed opportunities to make it even better than it is: 1. The inside flap should have two mesh pockets, not just one! It is inexplicable to me why Travelpro decided not to include a second one below the existing one: there is room for it and it would be extremely helpful to store additional items - why pass on this opportunity??? 2. The extension panel should have two (instead of one) buckle straps so if you want to use the panel for an extra pair of pants or a couple of t-shirts, the two straps would help keep them in place. 3. The outside pocket should have a built-in organizer for passports, pens, business cards, phone, etc. (not essential, but it would be a convenient feature). So, all in all I am happy with this bag, but a little more attention to detail and a few minor tweaks would go a long way to make it so much better.

> 3 dayOne can tell this bag is well built, sturdy and strong. Only issue is you can only push/pull horizontally. Would be perfect if had 4 wheels that rotate, allowing for the option to walk with the bag right by your side, would make it much less difficult getting through the narrow airplane and metro aisles.
