As described, it was an easy fit and looks good. You will need plastic tools to make your life a little easier though.

For any one with an x5 / x6 we know how horrible the passenger side door handle melts away. The oem rubber slowly melt away, the dealer quoted 500 dollars for this repair. This item was excellent, well built and simple to install … Looks better than new and also feels better at most it was a 3 minute install. Excellent purchase

The fit and finish of this trim part is excellent. This particular part isn’t the easiest to replace as taking off the old one requires basically breaking the old one to remove. In other words, once it’s clicked into place, it’s there to stay (until you’re willing to break the next one). This is only an issue if you don’t get all the control buttons (particularly the 4 point mirror adjustment rocker) seated absolutely correctly before snapping into place. That isn’t an issue caused by this part - just a BMW design obstacle. You’ll definitely need a set of plastic auto trim pry-tools as well.

This is an awesome item with an awesome price that is very easy to install. You will save lots of money by purchasing this item and replacing yourself. No need to take to an automotive repair shop for this repair.

This is an excellent replacement for those worn and gummy door pulls. Takes 10 minutes to replace and saves you $$ by not taking it to the dealer!
