Saw this on facebook so I just had to get a kit. Now everyone will get a tie dye for Christmas.

was very easy to get started. bind the shirts first then add the water and squirter all over. be sure to get in the creases of the fabric! I let ours sit for a week before washing them out. vibrant colors!

Good product did the job

Made pretty tie-dye shirts at my daughters birthday. Easy to use, but really make sure you have the gloves on (or better, yet, buy good-fitting ones from the first-aid department). it can be tricky when youre doing the project to tell if the dye is going where you want it, because it runs down into your tied parts. But, they turned out nice. Easy to wash (no need to set) and color stays then ages nicely. I have to say, though, do not believe the internet that says this is an easy way to do tie dye with very small kids. I mean, its EASIER, but not easy. We tried it with 3-year-olds, and it was not a very fun time for them because they could not control the dye bottles very well, so we couldnt let them do as they might have pleased. If you are going to do this with little ones, make sure they and the immediate area are protected enough that you dont have to worry about the dye flying around.

Colors are beautiful, however after the first wash (all instructions followed) they drastically faded, still looks alright but wish they were more vibrant

This worked just like it was supposed to. Nice, vibrant colors. Would definitely recommend.

What you see is what you get with these. A full set of bottles is probably enough for 2-3 adult size shirts, with refills for another 2-3 in the packets. Based on my own results, I recommend doing fewer shirts and really soaking them through with dye rather than trying to stretch it across 3 large-size shirts like I did, especially longsleeve shirts (seriously, why do people only make shortsleeve shirts tie-dye?). As always, make sure you get material which is 100% cotton. Also, feel free to throw out the gloves that are included because they are terrible and leak. I want to say the colors faded a little bit after the first couple washes, but after that it seems to have slowed down, and overall the dyes seem to be holding up well after wearing them several times. I imagine they will probably fade more significantly after many washes, but I doubt I will be wearing these shirts super often.

Messy, but was expected

Really easy to use and contains a surprising amount of dye. The first batch (that was already in the bottles) covered six kids size t-shirts and one adult size t-shirt. We decided to save the refills for later. The colors hold well and are very pretty.
