They were perfect for this purpose -- easily wound around the posts and rails for her loft bed, and solving the problem of all other night lights being too far from her pillow or not illuminating enough of the room. The dimming feature was great for turning bright to read by or dim for sleeping. Kiddo was heartbroken when they died yesterday, less than 7 months after installing them. I thought LEDs were essentially immortal but I guess not.

> 24 hourReally like the lights, super bright in a darken room. The remote on the other hand doesnt work. Email the company wanting on reply. Update: Company is taking care of it and will be doing a refund due to bad remote. I will be ordering again, going try a 2nd time because the light are really cool.

> 24 hourUpdate: my daughter loves it so it won’t be returned. However the remote control is still a challenge when it comes to changing colors and to turn the lights off. Doesn’t work. How do I get a replacement remote? Just put them in my kiddos room on the wall and it looks really nice. However the remote doesn’t work after the first time using it. The on/off button isn’t working which is VERY disappointing. Will try it for a few more days and go from there if I need to return. I had expected it to work.. I paid for it!!

> 24 hourWe used them to light up a tunnel. They are very bright and bold. The only down side, is that after I used them they got tangled up really easy. Keeping them untangled is a challenge, but they work great! Also I bought two of them wanting 2 different colors, but one remote will control them both making it hard to do separate colors if the strands are close together.

> 24 hourI like these lights and the fact they are USB too. BUT after being on for a day, the color changes to a light red. Why, I have no idea. So I turn them off or pick the color I want again. Not that big of a deal but it is annoying. I use them indoors only.
