Useful when camping and eating out of doors or picnicking. They seam to run fairly long in batteries and are simple to use.

These worked great keeping those pesky bugs away during an outdoor dinner party.

Out of the box it looks cheap novelty toy. However, it appears to discourage flies from the immediate area. Whether its form the hologram reflectors on the blades of just the fact the blades are spinning, it does appear to be effective...

I have been trying to figure out how to control flies at my outdoor parties for years. Ive tried sprays, fly paper, Irish Spring soap, PineSol, etc. These fans did the trick! Flies would attempt to come into the zone and then take harsh turns away. I really couldnt believe it. They work their best when the sun can reflect on the strips. I plan to order more!

This item did not disappoint. As matter of fact it went far beyond our expectations. We thought it would just keep the flies away. Instead we learned it did so much more. With surgical precision it would decapitate any fly that dared to come close. I almost gave it four stars because we couldn’t enjoy our time together because we were so busy cleaning up all the little fly body’s and heads.

I bought 2 sets to use on the food tables at my son’s outdoor graduation party. They worked! Not a fly around the food or cookies all day! Great looking product, nice and quiet.

I saw a similar item at a party and purchased a set of my own. The 3 fans kept the flies away though it was a partially enclosed space. I would be curious to see how well they work in a completely outdoor setting. I also like that the telescoping structure saves space when not in use.

I did not think that they would really keep flies away but they actually do what they are supposed to do. My wife laughed at them and said they were ridiculous. I was camping and had a picnic table full of food. There were flies until I brought out these fans and the flies disappeared! Wife is very chagrined and now has yet another reason to not doubt my willingness to try something new!

Ive seen these at outdoor restaurants and wanted one for my backyard dining area. I wanted something cute to keep the flies away and this fit the bill. It works as it should.
