Ubiquiti Networks Unifi AC Mesh 1167Mbit/s Power over Ethernet (PoE) White

I have this wirelessly uplinked to an AP AC Pro (15 meters); the signal is stable and the coverage is more than sufficient when signal strength is set to high, it even manages to partly cover my driveway and front garden while being mounted to a candle holder indoors. I once switched it for a FlexHD, but didn’t get a wireless uplink signal strength that is decent, and ended up hooking the AC M up again and moving the FlexHD somewhere else.

I bought this to add outdoor coverage for our pool. I ran a cable through the attic, and connected it under the eave of the house. It runs off of power over Ethernet. Coverage is fantastic, we can now reliably use devices in the back yard. It comes with multiple types of mounting options, so you can really mount it to basically any scenario.

Technical Support is useless. No phone number to communicate with anyone. Had to use chat. Was on chat for over an hour with no resolution to any problems. Would not recommend this product at all.

I love these little APs. Great for situations where the ceiling mount ones arent going to work. I like the mesh capability but they work great as just an access point too.

This requires secondary devices to setup. You cannot set it up with the mobile app, you cannot set it up with a browser. You MUST have a separate dedicated AP-pro to talk to them just to set it up.... The software is not user friendly (maybe it is if youve bought into all their other devices...) But I had a ubiquiti router and this product alone will cause me to not buy anything else from them... After 3 hours and finding other people who had the same issues, my trashcan wont be empty tonight..
