This works beautifully. For the new laptop I was using it with, I had to adjust the Power Management settings for the LAN/Ethernet Adapter to make sure the system didnt Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Uncheck that setting; otherwise it will probably disconnect you.

No setup required in MacOS, simple plug and play accessory.

My internet is 500mb up/down and this connector can handle all of that. I havent reached its top speed.

I plugged this into my new Macbook Pro M1 to copy old data off a old NAS. It took over 5 days to copy 150 GB. I then bought Anker which worked as expected (plug it in and done), about 3 - 4 minutes per GB. Plugged it into the C port of the TiVo 4 K Stream and it switched to wired ethernet . turned off the WiFi and WiFi search on the TiVo App and it has been streaming through the Ethernet connection. Seems to be a steadier signal.

Do not buy this! It is better to just use wifi as this is junk. This adapter dropped my internet several times a day. I work from home so I thought this would be a better, faster internet connection option than wifi, but I was terribly wrong. It dropped me in the middle of important conderence calls that I was leading as well as I lost work when working on online documents.
