Greater than one weekit holds a lot I had a whole lot of asthma, diabetic, allergy, pain, and first aid medicines in the bag along with pen and paper took this bag with me on a road trip with my family to New York the butterflys didnt fade the straps didnt break from the weight of all the items I had inside and the zipper didnt break from the constant zipping and un zipping the bag is very sturdy
