Greater than one weekThis umbrella is heavy duty and had a really good feel to it. For those of us with smaller hands, the handle may be a challenge to grasp in those high winds; in the Midwest, I might not know that for a few months.

> 3 dayThis umbrella (I chose black) feels very solidly- and intelligently-designed and well built. When pressing the button, it snaps open quickly. Pressing the button again smartly closes the umbrella -- but you’ll still need to manually push it back together to lock it in. It’s a little heavier and larger than other “pocket” umbrellas I’ve used. You should watch the product video on the Amazon page. I can readily believe that it will withstand 70 mph winds! I definitely would recommend this compact, heavy-duty umbrella to family and friends.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is sturdy and compact. The pattern is on the underside of the umbrella, and the top is black. It opens with the push of a button and closes fairly easily - it does, however, require some pressure to get it closed. It comes with a drawstring cover and is perfect for travel due to its small size when folded. Recommended.
