> 24 hourAfter it gets formatted. It doesn’t get recognized. So not worth it. Plus it’s only a 2.0. So if that’s a concern. Stay Away.

> 24 hourThree out of the five thumb drives weren’t recognized on my new Mac Mini. The two that did took forever to load-half hour for simple files. I loaded the same files with thumb drive from Micro Center that took TEN SECONDS.

> 24 hourI noticed that these drives were very slow, so I tested the one that seemed fastest (knowing that such testing can/will degrade the lifespan of the drive). The average read speed was roughly 15MB/s, instead of the 60MB/s a full speed USB 2.0 device can do. The average write speed was 10.5MB/s. The device does identify as USB 2.0, and was tested across passes alternating between a Mac and Windows machine. The drive that seemed slowest was not able to complete all test passes, but did transfer data from machine to machine very slowly with 2.3MB/s read and 0.01MB/s writes. Again, these were functional, and did not seem defective, just slow performers. However, at this price point thats not what youre looking for Im guessing. For me, I think full speed results would be 5 stars, average 3, and these examples get two stars. I did not conduct long term testing, and have no data to comment on how long they might last.
