In an ideal world this exact item would be identical except lighter weight. I was picturing stashing it in a bag and not weighing me down, but it is a little heavy. Still, I bought it for sun protection, not for weightlessness, so Im happy. Havent had it long so cant really judge its durability. But so far, so good.

Its a really pretty umbrella. The only thing is its really hard to close well honestly at less I know its really strong. I got the blue pink one. And I use it alot cause i live in a very hot environment right next to the equator. And using it feels like Im under a house. Thats my opinion.

Terrible! Opened and closed it exactly four times when it broke. I used the button every time as instructed. Hard to wrap the strap around it once its opened. Heavy. Bulky. Sad. I wanted this so much to be good. Returned.

Its a beautiful looking umbrella and I love the inside black cover that does a great job of blocking the sun. I live in a very hot summer climate and the sun is brutal. The first umbrella I received would no longer open and close after only a few uses. The seller promptly sent a replacement. When first opened, I noticed that one area was not fully extended, but folded downward a little at the end. I may not be using the proper terms but upon inspection, I found that a piece of the wire that shapes the umbrella was bent, I think, due to a very small piece that was missing/broken, which caused the bend inward. The wire in that spot is not fitted securely to the material. Due to a rare skin condition, sun protection is very important to me. I havent decided whether to keep it or not. Compared to a typical umbrella, it does a much superior job of blocking the sun and I really need the protection. The bent section does not leave my body greatly exposed so I may try to make it work .

I love nice weather but cannot be in the sun for a long time. Went to Disney with friends in July and I am soooo glad I bought this. Although it won’t make it cooler it does prevent nasty sunburns and reduce the amount of “cooking” You will experience from the direct sunshine. It was my life saver and now I bring it everywhere. I recently brought it to an outdoor concert and I had a lady ask if she could sit behind me to “steal” some of my shade. You can definitely notice a difference between having shade and not having shade.

Love this product, Im walking in the sun in the hot Arizona summer and can feel protected and cool. I was using just my regular umbrella in this 110 degree plus heat and am sure glad I purchased this UV Protected device. Yes I would purchase another one (got the blue/purple flower design) to have for my visitors to use around town. Good Deal!
