Its a bit heavier than other umbrellas of the same sort that I own, but the carrying case is really convenient and the umbrella is definitely of high quality. It feels pretty sturdy and isnt flimsy in the wind. I would recommend this if youre looking for something portable.

My son opened the umbrella and one of the ribs broke immediately. I was unable to rewrap the umbrella small enough to fit back into the case.

I like the color options, and it is nice to have a protective case. I travel a lot, and go through a lot of umbrellas as they get beat up in transit. The fabric and hardware appear to be of durable, high quality materials. I especially like the design for opening and closing -- not likely to pinch fingers!

This umbrella isnt the most substantial, and when its opened up, it is pretty small, but honestly all of that is worth it to me for how tiny and lightweight it is when folded up. I love the case because even if its a little wet, I can put my folded up umbrella in it and toss it in my bag without getting all of my stuff wet and then just air it out to fully dry when I get home. I cant imagine it would help during a major weather situation, but for tossing in my bag for the day to protect from unexpected showers here and there, its perfect.

I got this with the specific intent of using it as a parasol. I walk around a lot, especially during the summer when the weather is nice. The sun, other than being warm, is daunting for my skin. Im very concerned about UV protection and have started carrying parasols in addition to sunscreen. This super compact umbrella is so convenient for storing/carrying around and then does a great job at sun protection. On top of that, on particularly warm days, I notice a cooling difference underneath it. Dont be shy about parasols, everyone! Protecting your skin is cool any way you look at it.

I needed an umbrella to keep in my car, and this one is perfect for that. It is well built and sturdy, and is small enough to fit in the car door pocket. I ordered the blue color. It has a very nice, round soft plastic handle, and it even comes in a pretty cool carrying case which is blue and gray.

This mini umbrella is a lifesaver. Its lightweight and easy to carry. It comes with both a regular cover and the carrying case which is such a bonus. Its easy to open and close and doesnt get stuck or jam. My favorite part is how thick the umbrella material is because its great for blocking sun as well as rain. Its also a pretty strong umbrella so it takes a lotttt of wind for it to flip. Even if it does flip(i live in chicago where its very windy so it has flipped) its easy to straighten out and I havent noticed any damage when it does get flipped. I love throwing this in my bag in case it rains any day and I dont have to constantly remember to take my umbrella because its so light I can just always have it on me.

This is tiny, and I actually think Ill get more use out of the zippered case than I will out of the umbrella. FYI - I live in the Pacific Northwest. That said, this is fine. It is not an automatic opening umbrella, and you have to push it pretty hard to get it to lock into place. It absolutely does not close up as nicely as it did when I first opened it, but I was able to get it back in the case. I think this is more for UV shading than for rain protection. Its really small, and while it will provide cover from rain coming straight down, its not sturdy enough to hold up to wind. As of today, this is $12 and that includes a case. If youre just going to use it for UV protection or a light drizzle, thats probably great. If you need to use it for heavy rain, this probably wont hold up.

My grandson wanted a umbrella that was lightweight and would fit in his school backpack. This one was perfect since it has such a nice waterproof case so a rainy wet umbrella doesn’t get everything in his backpack wet. Its good protection even in the pouring rain, the material in the canopy is strong and water-repellent. It seems to pretty good in windy conditions as well, it has 6 reinforced fiberglass ribs and chrome plated strong metal. They come in nice colors, I got the purple one since that’s his favorite color.
