It is definitely not the same quality as what you will find in the hospitals, but it does get the job done. The base portion does not fit under my chair but would have no issue going under the bed. It is fairly sturdy, but does have an air of flimsiness that does keep me watchful. Raises up really high, but does not lower down enough in my personal opinion. The ability to adjust its height is a little difficult to move. I am not disappointed for the price, but do feel like the quality is just a hint, only a hint lacking. Not disappointed, but not impressed.

I wanted something to put my laptop on and use in bed. At first, I was using a large 17-inch HP laptop with a mini keyboard, mouse, and even a mini-game keyboard on my left, it all fit and held up fine. Very sturdy and well put together. I now have a 27-inch widescreen monitor in place of the laptop with same set-up and it is still great after over a year of near-nightly use. There is a very tiny lean to the right (the free floating end) from holding all the weight for 500+ days but it isnt noticeable @ all unless you really look for it and doesnt affect anything. Highly recommended.

First, ease of use moves easily over rugs and floor, not wobbly very steady the up and down levor does the job without a lot of forcing and the actual table size is just right for our needs. Second, this is one of those items that has brought a sense of relief and is like a new member of our team since we are in a major change in our lives and how we conduct our day to day experiences. Who knew a small mobile table or desktop would bring such joy??

Perfect for my husband’s needs

My wife had been in the hospital with a pesky infection and then sent to a rehab facility where she got no sleep. We rented a hospital bed and arranged for home care so she could come home and truly recuperate. She really appreciated the hospital tables that were movable and adjustable to keep things midway down the bed at night she wanted to reach in the middle of the night and to eat at from the side of the bed or in a chair. We had nothing like it at home so I ordered it from Amazon. The package was very heavy and the bed needed to be assembled. The instructions were clear. My middle son came over and did most of the work. It might have taken 1/2 hour in all to put it together . It is very study and works very well for its purpose. It holds most of the stuff my wife wants to reach at night much more conveniently that the night tables we owned.
