> 3 dayI love Vera Bradley because their bags are always so well made and last years. This is my first time having one of their backpacks and I absolutely love it! It is so lightweight and soft. The blue is a nice color and looks professional. I love all the pockets. There is a zip for your laptop separate from the main backpack. There is also a cool little pocket on the back of it that you can reach while it’s on (see photo) to get something out easily. I like to put my phone in there for easy access. It’s a pretty good sized bag that holds a lot. The inside pattern is really pretty too. The only way they could make this better would be to make it waterproof. I would not trust using it when there is a chance of snow/rain.

Greater than one weekLove it!! Working on my master’s degree and needed a nice, durable backpack that would accommodate a 16 inch MacBook Pro as well as a notebook and books. This backpack is not only beautiful, it’s durable and has plenty of room for my MacBook and all of my books and other accessories.

> 3 dayI had my reservations about buying this online. The recycled cotton colors are not quilted, which is my favorite part of VB items, and I am an unremitting girly girl and like squeezable soft things. I was pleased to find it as soft, smooth and durable as the signature cotton, although naturally not as plush because it lacks batting between the inner and outer layers. The lining is gorgeously patterned and full of pockets and compartments. I particularly like how it sits firmly on my back when fully loaded, it is ergonomic and the straps do not dig into my shoulders or exacerbate my arthritis. Also, the zippers can be tucked all the way down into the cupholders on the sides, which is a nice protective measure if you frequent public transportation. All in all this may be a worthy successor to my y2k Lands End backpack that lasted me nearly 20 years. If it fails in the next few years Ill come back and complain about it.

> 3 dayNot sure of the legitimacy of the brand here. The straps tore the fabric on the back of the backpack on the second usage. Also, the zippers are constantly separating. After having these issues I went to a Vera Bradley store and found that the workmanship on the backpacks in the store was significantly better, and there were several differences in how the bags were made that spoke to the higher quality of the bags in the stores. The interior is quite nice, and it fits a lot. But that doesn’t really make up for the zippers failing and the fabric tearing. I’d be wary with this one.
