> 24 hourI didnt like Spice Girls, I hated their music. But when I first listened to Victorias album I didnt believed she could sing and write so well. This album cost to Virgin $10,000,000 to be created so you understand its quality. All the songs are GREAT but the A mind of its own,Girlfriend,Innocent girls and Watcha talkinabout are the best. The lyrics are so realistic and, honestly, Victoria shows in this album that she has an important reason existing in pop music where very little artists appreciate, support and create good music. The reason that this album didnt have a huge success-and Virgin dropped her-is because maqazines and reviews and critics made people believe that she doesnt have any talents and believe me its not true.

> 24 hourI dont understand why the critics and fans were so hard on Victoria with this album in 2001. Now, in 2022, it sounds not bad at all... It has catchy tunes, nice lyrics, great melodies and even though Victoria is not a great vocalist, she did a good job. Im so into this album that I had to buy it and it was worth it.

> 24 hourVictoria Beckham/Posh Spice was always my favorite member of the Spice Girls. I also thought she was the most attractive out of all of them too! Well it just so happens that her solo debut album is the best solo debut out of all the Spice Girls! I like every song, especially Not Such An Innocent Girl and A Mind of Its Own, both hits in England. The songs on this album are well written and she sounds great! I dont know why a lot of people say she cant sing, I think she has a good voice. I think she deserved more solos when she was with the Spice Girls. So anyway if youre a Spice Girls fan or like Posh youll like this album like I did. Its definately worth the price!

> 24 hourWhen I first bought this CD, I thought it wasnt very good. I listened to the first song, didnt like it and then put it away. Today, I decided to take it out and listen all the way through. I was extremely suprised. I wasnt a Spice Girl fan, but bought this CD because I just liked the cover art (Stupid, I know) and now Im GLAD that I picked it up. Victoria has clearly improved her voice since her Spice days, and also honed her songwriting skills (Writing/Co-Writing many of the albums tracks) Its an excellent euro-pop album, and while its not like any of these songs trigger intense emotions or anything, they are fun. Its a good CD to drive to, or put on at a party. Definatley worth the extra $$ for import. Victorias latest work (Let Your Head Go/This Groove) Is also worth checking out.

> 24 hourAfter being ind the background of the Spice Girls, Victoria is the last to release a solo album. I must say that Im impressed she can write songs and she can sing, although her voice isnt nsomething special, but she remains to keep it clean, only on one song her voice fades a bit ( Unconditional Love ).

> 24 hourWhile currently Victoria is a mother of three sons & more of a celebrity, back in the latter half of 2001 she was a popstar. While she never found the commercial success this record deserved, it is a quite good pop record.

> 24 hourPoor Posh Spice. She cant seem to get a break. Whether it be defending herself against tabloid rumors or defending her familys privacy, she cant seem to win. Her record company doesnt seem keen on doing her any favors either. In their far from infinite wisdom, the execs thought they would stage a singles battle of the pop princesses between Beckham and UK chart icon Kylie Minogue with disastrous results for Beckham. Not only was she trounced thoroughly on the singles front, but this project arrived the same day as Minogues FEVER, which again soundly obliterated Beckham(and the rest)on its way to Number One. Which is all quite sad considering that Beckham has delivered a thoroughly engaging album, something that has surprised no one more than me. Lets start with the singing, which has improved by leaps and bounds since the Spices first record--though she may never possess the greatest range, you have to admit that her vocals go down far smoother than the harsh, accent-ravaged singing of either of the Mels or even ex-Spice Geri Halliwell. As for the songs, well there are some definite strong moments here--first single Not Such An Innocent Girl, though dismissed on the charts quite briskly, is far from the travesty everybody is proclaiming it to be. Among the stronger cuts, youve got the garage-styled Midnight Fantasy, the electronica-spiked ballad I.O.U., and the pop-funk of No Trix, No Games. While there are some downturns--Girlfriend and I Wish are both third-rate Destinys Child rip-offs--they make only a small ripple in an otherwise surprisingly solid debut.

> 24 hourFans who like pop & RnB will definetely like this! Even though shes really overrated over in the UK this album shows that Posh can do well by herself! The ballad IOU is dedicated to her husband David and is one of my favorite tracks. Every Part Of Me is a really cute & sweet song that has vocals from her son Brooklyn, hes so adorable! Now in 10 years hell know that his mom was DEFINETELY famous! Snatch this album and get it here from amazon ...

> 24 hourI liked 9 songs on this album. Many of them are dancey songs. On one it has a little kid. I like the cover picture with the kitty!

> 24 hourLiving in the UK myself, one can get tired of seeing Victoria in the media for every other reason than that of her music. However Id like to take this opportunity to let America know how good this album actually is.
