When it comes to bluetooth, computers etc...I am so lost. I previously purchased a plug with hopes of programming it. I was so frustrated with it. I packaged it up and sent it right back. So I purchased this smart plug so I can control my christmas lights. It wasnt that hard to set up. I downloaded the app..followed the instructions and I was so proud of myself that I was able to set it up ALL BY MYSELF! My lights comes on and off at the times I set. This plug is absolutely wonderful. The best part is I can control the lights with my smart phones as well. Now I havent figured out how to make it work with my Alexa yet..but I will soon. Im determined. I hightly recommend this plug.

Life has become easier with these smart plugs! No need to get up to turn off the lights. No need to find the controller to turn off the fan. All possible with a simple voice command of Echo, turn off/on... right from where Im sitting. Thank you Vont for creating an easy to use and easy to install and does what it should do smart plug!

I received a pair of the smart plugs as a beta tester. Ive used another brand for a couple of years. It seems to not have a sunrise/sunset option in the app. I do like that if the AC power drops out, the light does not come on when power is restored. Overall, they have been working as expected for several months. Very happy with them.

I have some smart plugs from several different brands and some of them just sit in a drawer not used. Those plugs works sometimes, most of the time they dont. Some of the other smart plugs have had issues with my network router and were very slow to react. They are also several years old and were just not technically up to speed. I found these smart plugs from Vont and ordered them. First off, they are VERY easy to install and configure. Vont has one App for all of their smart devices. Just plug in the smart plug, go to the App, click on Add Device and it is found immediately. Select the smart plug and let it do its thing. Once it is done, the smart plug works. I named each plug and added them to my Amazon Alexa for voice control. Now I can plug in lamps, fans, plant lights or anything I want to control into the smart plug, and I can turn it on/off with a simple voice command. I even have one controlling a plant light that is on a scheduled daily on/off to keep my plants healthy without having to think about it. Setting up a schedule is also very easy and fast. This two pack of smart plugs is priced great making them a terrific value. The ease of installation and use make them a truly smart buy. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend them to anyone needing a really great smart plug.

I was looking for a way to control my lights while away from home. These smart plugs were just what I was looking for. They easily connect to the app and can be controlled by my phone when ever I want. I would like to be able to create a schedule for extended vacations but there is a work around with the rules section. I’m told that this will be included on a future software update. I have also been able to link it to my Google Home Screen so I can simply ask Google to turn that light on or off without getting up.

Simple easy packaging and bit of difficulty getting to work with my Alexa and Google Home. I own a couple of different brands of smart plugs and Vont is pretty good.. 4-Stars!!

These Vont smart plugs (2-pack) were really easy to setup with their Vont Home app. After setup I was able to easily get Alexa to work with them as well. I can control both a floor lamp and Christmas Story Leg Lamp in my living room easily with the app or by voice using Alexa. I have also created a nightly schedule for them to turn on & off automatically. These have consistently worked well, and are much more versatile than using an old-fashioned plug-in timer that is DUMB. Love these!

Product works great. Easy to install. Integration with Alexa is cumbersome at best. No manual except on line. Alexas cannot discover without enabling skills. Once it is connected to Alexa everything is fine.

Setting up with Alexa will not work directly…you need the Vont app. Set up should be able to be done direct. Why do I need yet another app just for plugs? When I already “supposedly” have one? Over all…not too bad though. The app does work when you get it set up. Be sure to check your router speeds! It must be compatible with 2.5gb you may need to call your provider and have them activate the 2.5 band. If you use extenders, the same applies…it must support the band.
