Works great with PS5 and well worth it for the price.

I bought this to expand the storage of my PS5 and was unsure if they shipped with the latest firmware update for the SSD. For those that dont know, Western Digital released new firmware for this drive that improved its performance. Only way to find out was to install it in my PC first to verify and update it if not. It did in fact come with the latest firmware already installed. No need to update, just buy and install. Drive works great as well!

Easy to install without voiding the PS5 warranty. Works seamlessly. No complaints here. I’ve had for 5 months. No issues so far. Good price for 2TB. Even better if you find it on sale like I did.

Easy install once you watch the install videos from Sony. I love that Sony makes hard drive upgrades on the Playstations so easy. Eventually Ill fill it but this effectively doubled my PS5s storage which was really needed. This was on sale so the value was much better than getting a bigger one. Honestly if I fill up the main storage and this expansion, its time to start deleting games anyway. If my Internet connection sucked I might want more storage so I dont have to wait for games to redownload but for now this is great.

Highly recommend this to anyone who has a PS five why not upgrade your space for a nice affordable price
