Weltool Glass Lens for Maglite C or D Cell Full Size Flashlights Upgrade - Tempered Glass Lens Shatterproof and UltraClear (1lens)

It came in a nice container that would keep one safe if you bought 2 like I did just so I would have it. I was thinking about replacing the flashlight because of the brightness of some of the others on the market but like the durability of my maglight. Im really glad I found these and got them. My lenses wasnt that bad I thought, but made alot of difference having the new lenses.

I dig it!!! A breath of fresh technology into an old school, incandescent bulb, Bad Ass flashlight. Old you ask? Let’s use the word, vintage. I don’t know how vintage but I’m thinking early 90’s? Let’s put it this way engraved on my flashlight is MAG-LITE MAG INSTRUMENT ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA, USA!!!! That, there says it all!! Ha!!!! I installed this glass lens at the same time I installed a LED bulb into a 3-D cell MagLite, which I have 3 of. I ordered 1 of these just to see if what I thought was true, was true and it was!!! The MagLite with the glass lens and a LED bulb in it was So bright side by side with one of my other MagLite’s still with the standard incandescent bulb and standard lens in it and the LED bulb also had strong long distance beam projection. I was happy and sad all at the same time. Happy, my Vintage, Merican, Big, Beautiful, Bad Ass MagLite was now so bright but sad because, all of a sudden, I felt so old, Ha!!!!! Yes it was a tight fit, to get the new LED bulb in, but who dose not like a tight fit? Can I say that here? Ha!!! I’m going to buy 2 more for my other MagLite’s.

I havent used it at night yet but there is an improvement in brightness. It comes with a rubber seal that should stop water from entering, should the lens get wet. I doubt anyone will ever have problems with lens scratches for two reasons: The lens is the same material that prevents eye glasses from scratching; The flashlight offers protection that prevents inadvertent contact from ever touching your lens. (I also installed a LED bulb that barely uses any power to operate during an emergency that last for days.

Ive got a 5 D-cell Maglite thats easily 25 years old. The lens was pitted & scratched. This lens was a perfect fit, and it included the new o-ring as well. Great value for restoring this old flashlight.

I bought these glass lenses hoping they would fit on the NEBO Luxtreme flashlight which comes with a cheap plastic lens. The lens and rubber gasket fit like they were made for this flashlight. Im so happy. Also, the Weltool Glass Lens kit appears to be very well made and well packaged. Thank you.

I replace my 29 years old Maglite lens with this new one. It came well protected in a plastic bag, and inside in a small plastic container, with the lens wrapped in plastic. Includes an o ring replacement (nice touch). As you can see in the picture, Weeltools lens, its clearer than the old one, even with the plastic film.

These are everything the seller claims - super clear, and hard to break. Bought the 3-pack to replace the cheap plastic lenses on several older MagLites that had been retrofitted with LEDs. As I expected, the glass lenses were a huge improvement over a couple of the plastic lenses that were badly scratched and scuffed. What I was not expecting was the huge improvement over even a clean plastic lens in excellent shape - so much clearer. As for durability, I just this afternoon managed to drop one of the MagLites with a new glass lens about 4 feet onto a concrete patio - no damage to the lens.

The lens showed up and seems quite durable and even came with a new O-ring that fit perfectly. Only time can tell for the durability but I would recommend, especially for the price.

I bought this as a replacement for a 2-C cell maglite flashlight. The original plastic lens was hazy due to a million scratches. This lens fit perfectly and felt like quality as soon as it was taken out of the package. The result is exactly what I had hoped for, a clear lens that seems like it will resist scratches a lot better than the original.
