> 24 hourI heard about these blocks, and as an extreme DIY-er, I thought I could use a pair. I started pricing them and goodness, these things are expensive. Tgen I came across these and thought surely they must be flawed or low quality... I was wrong. Once receiving them promptly, I put them to work right away. After using them in loo of an engineering square, which are also very expensive, I came up with an unintended use for them that ensures that I will always have a couple of these in my tool box. They make THE BEST knife grinding jigs. Ive struggled trying to build a decent jig, and I cant seem to pull it off.. But without modifying these at all, I drill a 3/8 hole in the tang of the knife, tilt my table to the desired angle, and bsm! Perfect bevels! Im cranking these knives at twice the pace I was previously. I have also incorporated them into my woodworking as various jigs. These things are great, and just because they cost less, does NOT mean that theyre cut rate... Very accurate and extremely useful.

> 24 hourAfter degreasing both parts measured to less than 0.001 in all 3 directions in multiple points. Pleasantly surprised.

> 24 hourI bought these as there were cheap & I didnt need absolute accuracy, they are 1-2-3 blocks to within 1 thou according to my cheap digital calipers. Arrived fast, small package, individually wrapped blocks in a single plastic bad in a tight small cardboard box. No frills & no issues from my point of view. No threaded holes on any sides so stacking will be an issue if you want to screw these together, hence 4 stars, 5 threaded holes top & bottom, std 3/8-16. Ill be using these as simple spacers or corner bracing so all good for me.

> 24 hourMeasured the blocks with my Mitutoyo calipers and every dimensions came out within +/- 0.0005 (half a thousandth). Was not expecting that level of accuracy for $20. Surface finish was good and no issues with burrs or sharp edges around the holes or on the chamfers as I read in reviews for other manufacturers. Havent tested the threaded holes, but I personally dont intend to use them. Came with protective oil. I cleaned off for use but applied a light coat afterwards with the rag-in-a-can method to keep these from rusting over time. (Ive seen some people complain about rust, but unless your tools are made of stainless steel you need to take some measure to prevent rust.) Highly recommend. Worth every penny.

> 24 hourThese blocks are a great value, dimensions are as specified. Only downfall is they cannot be bolted together like some of the more expensive blocks.
