Stick with the original wetbrush. This one did not detangle as well as the original brush and my daughter wont even let me use it in her hair because she thinks it hurts so much more. You also cant return this item so once purchased you are stuck with.

Works better than a regular brush on wet hair. My hair is very thick so the head bends a bit when I use it. First one Ive tried si nothing to compare it to.

Sturdy for long thick hair.

This brush does the job of allowing my hair to dry faster while I blow dry. The downside? It is very flimsy.

The brush comes in the color of solid red-purple, instead of light-purple as the picture shows. This is the most serious color-off on-line buying experience so far...I did not bother to return it this time... probably should have. Later I went out to a nearby store, found more color choices, as well as the color wanted before. Lesson learned.

Love this brush! Never knew what all the hype was about until I finally ordered one. It doesn’t tug on your hair if you have tangles; the bristles flex so it won’t pull your hair. I have fine 2c/3a curls, and I love this brush for detangling.
