A top quality tool. Heavy enough to add heft when digging in compacted soil, with sharp point and edges to deal with roots and such. Comfortable and balanced in the hand. Seems virtually indestructible. I plan to have it as my go-to for years to come.

Nothing else out there compares. It will never break, it will never rust, someday it will belong to your great grandchildren. Its so inexpensive for what it is.

Bought this for digging up and replacing old sprinkler heads. Cheaper digging tools just bend like a paper clip in the hard soil. It would be very difficult to damage this shovel even in demanding applications.

I love this thing! Its sturdy as heck, and the lines on the blade are super helpful for my I guess this is the right depth self. I recommended it in my gardening group and at least three other people seconded me, if that helps. Worth the purchase

This thing is quite sturdy and never feels like its going to break like many of the cheap aluminum ones I have tried over the years. If you are on your hands and knees planting and someone comes up behind you be at peace in knowing you can stab someone in the throat with this spade. Yeah its sharp, hard, sturdy and has a retainer strap to keep it from flying out of your hand ...at said stranger danger behind you. It also as mentioned easily digs through hard sun beat dirty with ease. Ive had it for a couple of summers now and it is still going strong.
