Wild Country Ropeman 1 Ascender

> 3 dayTook this out the other day to eat out some new saddle hunting equipment. Found this device very adequate to hold my 6 ft, 220lbs self in the tree very well. I even tried to get it to fail. No such luck. It held my weight very easily using a 10mm rope. Would recommend to everyone getting into any type of climbing.

> 3 dayEasy and quiet to use. I do also use a prusik as a failsafe but thankfully have not needed my failsafe yet.

Greater than one weekThis is one of those items that the moment you use it you say, Why didnt I buy this years ago ? Ultra light and compact. Takes seconds to mount/dismount. Great quality, super smooth function. Ascending/descending into my Tree Stand with this is like Night and Day compared to a Prusik.

> 3 dayTried and true. I have 3 for saddle hunting. They have never failed, including when a very scary ice storm came in while I was in a tree.

> 3 dayI use this for a lineman’s belt in hunting for climbing mobile tree stands steps. Very solid, good grip on properly sized ropes, easy to operate one handed. Much better than a sliding Prussik.

> 3 dayBought for my tree saddle linemen’s belt and theather. I like it because with one hand I can make adjustments on the fly. Nice when your hands are cold and numb.
