After purchasing the Wildhorn Roca Ski Goggles, I got this helmet to have a matching and seamless set. The helmet is nicely crafted and well-padded, obviously some care was put into the design and the price is right! Compared to more well-known manufacturers, this helmet has features only available in others $120+ models (such as adjustable vents). Unfortunately for me, as I now know, I have a long oval head and this helmet (size Large) is too round for me. My head measures the right circumference, but the helmet just doesnt work. Since nowhere in the product description does it currently discuss head shape and the product isnt available in most (any?) retail stores, it would be nice to see some text to this regard.

Practical gift from my boyfriend to his parents. They loved it! They used it last Christmas to go snowboarding. It saved his dads brain and a nice visit to the ER!

I love this helmet for two main reasons. One is super comfortable and is warm. Two the inside of the helmet is well made and Not cheap like some of the brand name that all you buy is the brand with cheap materials. Bonus the adjustment mechanism is solid and true to side. I had purchased other items from whildhorn and Im very happy with the quality of the products.

I used this helmet for a week, skiing in all conditions. I am very happy about the adjustment system, its lightweight and the general comfort of the helmet. Nevertheless I am more concerned about the durability of the outer shell. My 1.5 year old daughter wanted to put it on her head (under my supervision) and when she removed it she touched inadvertently the corner of the living room table. This left a clear blow on the helmet I was not expecting. Then I fell once during the ski week and it appears that there is a portion where the outer shell has suffered a blow about 0.5 inch. If this is the purpose of an helmet to absorb the energy of such shock, I find it much more sensitive than my previous helmet. Finally the googles left a mark, the shine of the outer shell is gone on this specific spot where you would position them on the helmet when you dont need them. The color I choose is the stone gray, maybe it is more sensitive than others. Well all this after about 5 days of intense ski. Am I supposed to change it now after all this ? Because at this price, while my previous helmet was rock solid and lasted many years, I am really concerned about its overall durability.

My red 2012 Giro ski helmet needed to be replaced after 10 years and I searched for ratings for the new safer MIPS (Multi Impact Protection System) helmets. This brand/model came highly recommended plus I wanted another red helmet. I had an Amazon gift card and that made the purchase very affordable. This helmet is very light, has all the safety and comfort features of other ones costing a lot more. There is a knob to tighten the fit if you need it, the adjustable air vents are generous, the ear flaps can accommodate ear buds and the straps are easy to adjust.

S here: Bought as a gift for my brother. He was happy with it, said it is lightweight and breathable. He really liked the matte finish. “The FTA system allows for a perfect fit with its adjustability!” He’s the last one in my family to get a helmet, so I’m happy we’ve found him something to keep this head protected! The circumference of his head is 22.5” or 57.15cm and he typically wears a size 7 1/2 in hats.

Very lightweight helmet, and perfect fit do the rear adjuster. Purchasing 3 more for the rest of of the family.

I ordered the Drift Wildhorn helmet for my daughter. I was excited to find a high quality helmet at an affordable price! We loved the sleek and stylish look and the feel of the helmet. It is light weight, but solid. Exceeded my expectations. I would highly reccomend this helmet. Fantastic value!
