Greater than one weekThis is the second set I have gotten which is marketed as for beginners and I am guessing that they hope that whoever picks it up does not know much about whatever the set is supposedly for. The last set so marked was a tarot set with a manual which read like the dao de ching. It had nothing at all to do with tarot (but got high ratings from people who bought it as a gift, and who knew nothing about it). That said, I do not know a lot about witchcraft, but do know enough that I think the box should have a pentacle on it, not a star of David. I would expect such a set to have a candle, but that alone is not enough for me to downgrade it. Really this has nothing to do with witchcraft. I ordered it because it is a very reasonable price for a good selection of herbs. Near everything you need to make a good spaghetti sauce in here, and quite a few things which would work well in bath bombs: dried rose buds, rose petals. There are also a number which would be good in tea, the hibiscus for example. But since these were sold for some other use (not explained) I am not sure if the quality is such that they are fit for consumption, and that is sort of a problem. Since there is not a booklet or anything which would suggest how these ought to be used, I would suggest that this is not for beginners. But, for those who had hoped for something more than additives for bath products, perhaps someone will review this who knows something more about witchcraft. That may not happen because from what little you can see before ordering, whoever put this together seems to know even less than I do. The jars are about half the size of what you would get in a supermarket. It is still a good price for 30 jars of herbs, IF you know that they are safe to use. There is no information on their origin, whether or not they were treated with pesticides..(or much of anything else). But they are well packed and arrived in good condition. The contents of the kit are 30 jars of herbs (roughly half culinary) and a tiny spoon with a crystal point. I should mention that none of them are toxins (no belladonna, for example) but, again, we do not know if they have been sprayed/ treated. There is no information of any kind beyond what you see on the front of the box. Guava leaves are used in witchcraft?

> 3 daythe labels are peeling off but fixable with clear tape.., the bad thing is a lot of the herbs are the exact same herb over again just either grounded up a little bit more than the others but you can tell that its not the herb that its supposed to be

> 3 dayThe spices are definitely genuine and the quantity is perfect. Super easy to use as well as good packaging (kept the glass jars safe). The glue on the outside of the box peeled a bit and left the little cover page weak but it was super easy to glue back together. Some of the labels were crooked but it’s all around a good product. Great for yourself and as a gift!

Greater than one weekThis set is interesting. The quality seems very high. The herbs look like theyre in great shape, held in good quality tubes with a nice case and a well-made spoon, but I agree with the reviewer who questions the knowledge of the manufacturers. Why is there a Star of David on the box rather than a pentagram? Are the ingredients food grade, as some spells require? Why no suggestions for use, ie spells? So in some ways the set is terrific, but its also uninformative. I give it five stars because the quality is high and there are many items conveniently gathered, but I wish the assemblers were better informed. The set is better for advanced or intermediate users who might need the supplies; its not that great for beginners, since there is no guidance and some misinformation.

> 3 dayThis was recommended by a friend and I’m so glad I listened! Everything is numbered and labeled clearly, which makes it easier to grab the right ingredients quickly. It comes with a handy little beginner’a guide/refresher on what the basic properties are of each herb, as well as a little carved metal spoon that holds a faux quartz, very cute. I’ve already used it twice, once for a banishment and once for a ceremonial incense, the herbs are the real deal unlike some of the mass-produced kits out there, and many of them have a very pleasant, earthy smell which adds to the atmosphere and helps empower the user all the more, because as we know us humans tend to be very scent-oriented. You could make everything from a banishing incense to a satchel to bless your car (and make it smell amazing). From scent therapy to spell working, this kit has everything to start out with. Also, the jars are pretty large and durable, so they’ll be easy to refill as the supplies run low.

> 3 dayI’m always sketchy about buying stuff for my craft from Amazon. But this kit seriously was impressing. The herbs came in glass bottles that were properly labled. It also came with a index of the herbs and their properties and uses. Good size portions too! A lot better than the dust bags that come in most kits.

Greater than one weekThis is a beautiful set packed in a very durable, attractive box. We set it up as a part of our Halloween potions decorations and it got many compliments. We are not into witchcraft so U cant tell you if the herbs included will help you cast spells, lol but they will impress nonetheless. Very giftable to the right recipients.
