It is deep and the opening is wide which will be very helpful when packing I would say I could pack 2 pr shoes, 4 tops, 2 dresses, cosmetic case, bathing suit, cover up and MORE. This is going on vacation with me this June. So happy I bought it, on sale too. Also the material is cotton so it is lightweight but sturdy. Very happy with my purchase. The colors on this bag are rich and a grown up print if you know what I mean. Beautiful and classy.
