So far working well. Ive been using it nightly 8-10 hours and have not had to replace the bulb yet. Ive been using it for gentle glare and draft free heat for my birds covered cage at night. Ive have it connected to a heat sensor probe to maintain even heat at the level of their perch because I like too keep the rest of the house cold at night. Warms up the covered cage gently from 60 to 70 degrees in 5-10 minute. The cover is key. Well see how long the bulb lasts. So far so good.

Great lights for night time heating reptiles

Liked that it got very hot and didn’t produce light for keeping our bearded dragon warm on these cold winter nights without disturbing her sleep. What I very much dislike is the price for these when we went through a two pack of bulbs in just over a week, only using them at night on a timer! Thought the first one to have had unnoticed damage during shipping or have been a manufactured defect. However, when the second one lasted a few days also I have to assume the product is cheap rendered useless! Don’t waste your money!!!

These are dangerous bulbs. They look sound but the moment you turn them on they start to crackle and pop. Then they start burning and the ever familiar smell of something on fire starts to reach your nose. The bulbs then dont cool down when you unplug them. FIRE HAZARD. Be very careful if you buy and when you use them the first time listen for that tell-tale popping noise.

They heat very well, but within 1hr of using them, it cracked.
