This item did the trick. The doors now close so quietly. They were easy to install. I should have bought the 12 pack but bought the 10 pack instead, so I still have 4 old ones on one door. The new ones installed made a HUGE difference.

These rollers are nylon with very high quality ball bearing rollers. My old rollers were shot!! I installed these in about 15 minutes after watching several You Tube videos. My garage door is now nearly silent!! There are cheaper rollers available on Amazon.... but these were only a couple of dollars each and are of the highest quality !! Should last forever.

These rollers are the way to upgrade any old metal rollers. The rollers I had were over 14 years old and the door was very noisy in both directions up/down. With these rollers the door is so much quite. The bearings with 2RS seals is the best way to obtain a very long life of these rollers. They dont need to be greased or lubricated. No need to worry about dust either.

QUIET, SMOOTH OPERATION

Easy install however I am a tradesman and have mechanical ability. The product was just installed and made a huge difference to the smoothness of operation and reduced noise by 80%. Very happy. Cannot comment of durability as they were just installed. Time will tell.

Worked as described, I would watch YouTube to see how to change the wheels. I would also pay attention to the warnings of not removing the bottom wheel or you could be injured.
