> 3 dayIm new to rock climbing and Im still learning in the ins and outs of equipment purchasing. I purchased these not knowing they are not manufactured by an established company climbing company. They came in a clear plastic bag without any additional instructions or contacts etc. Just a clear plastic bag, obviously to keep costs down. They did appear to be UIAA certified when I went to the UIAA website. But I was not sure I had the same serial numbers that had been tested since I didnt get any instructions or typical packaging. They did not say UIAA on the pieces. probably safe enough for most applications but I would rather spend a few dollars extra for peace of mind when im swinging off a rock 20 feet up.
