> 3 dayThis product has high reviews for a number of reasons. First, our boat, 25 ft. Sea Ray is docked during the winter in our boat house in North Texas. We do enjoy using our boat during nice winter weather and prefer not to winterize our boat. This product is placed in the engine compartment to keep the cooling water in the engine from freezing. The heater turns on automatically when the temperature is below 40 deg F and maintains the compartment temperature high enough to prevent engine and bilge compartment. The heater is safe to use in a closed compartment where fuel vapors may be present. We do add fuel stabilizer in the winter and trim down our out drive to drain the water from the lower unit to prevent freeze damage. Very satisfied with the product which pays for itself in a year compared to on dock boat winterization services. The heater must have a continuous 110 V electrical supply to function. Very satisfied with this high quality marine grade heater.

It has been a cold winter this year in Texas and this heater has performed as advertised. Has kept the engine compartment on my boat warm enough that I am not concerned about any engine freeze. It is compact in size and I am glad I made this purchase.
