Yak Attack Round Base Fish Finder Mount, Black - FFP-1005

Ready out of the box... pay attention when mounting the base

I was able mount my garmin fish finder to this with no issues. Works for my needs.

At first I thought this was going to be a bit bulky for my needs until I got it mounted on my kayak. It fits perfectly. Hoping I can update this post later with a picture.

It was an easy connection to the base that comes with the Garmin4cv. While the FF unit is not heavy, the over all sturdiness of the assembled base, arm, and Garmin feels rugged while remaining easily adjustable.

After struggling for a while to figure out how it installs on a rail in my kayak I find it well worth the effort. Marries up perfectly with my Garmin fish finder. I would have given it 5 stars if there would have been instructions included instead of having to search online for a video that shows the unit comes apart and you mount the lower half to the rail easily at that point.

Bought this to mount a Garmin 43CV on my kayak. Easy to install like the other Yakattack products. The hole used to mount the Garmin to the plate are off center, but wasnt a problem to get the screws through. I like being able to adjust the position of the Garmin for optimal viewing.

Perfect fit for my Garmin Vivid 4CV. Stays put and very sturdy. Easy to readjust or move. I like the “flip clamp” with its safety feature to prevent accidental release at the base. I’ve got another similar base mount, different brand and it has a push in/out style and difficult to release quickly.

Nice setup but wouldn’t did my hummingbird Parana4 DI so had to make it work.
