Greater than one weekOur dog just turned a year old and weighs about 50lbs, but is still a little under weight. Get him a bigger bowl to put more food in. This bowl easily holds three cups of dried food and a half cup of wet food mixed in. Its wide enough that he feels comfortable getting every last bit of tasty goodness. I would recommend getting it. It will last forever!

11-06-2025We have used the other dog bowls, the ones that come in the stands. Theyre noisy, hard to clean and get dented up and look bad pretty quickly. This bowl is very well made, heavy, so it doesnt move. It also is curved in the bottom edges, so our dog can lick the bowl spotless every time (we use wet food). I would have never thought of spending this much on a dog bowl if it hadnt been for similar reviews. Note, this is the smaller one, perfect for canned wet food. If you have a big dog eating dry food, youre probably going to need the larger size.

> 3 dayMy dog is a big lover of really cold water. I normally change her water a few times a day with refrigerated water to make sure it is very cold. I always change her water in the am and again at dinner time. Before she would walk by her bowl and want to go outside and look for cold rain water or snow! Now she drinks from her bowl all day. She is 14 yrs old and on a special diet to make her thirsty to urinate more. This bowl has been great!

13-06-2025So many dog bowls are a royal pain to pick up, especially if there is any water left. Not this bowl. Was on the fence about spending this much but now my only regret is - why didn’t I buy this sooner. Another plus is the amount of water it holds. This very hot summer - dogs like humans are drinking more water, even my doodle that spends most of the time inside.
