> 3 dayBest purchase I have ever made. Wanted one for years but never got around to buying one. Mainly because I wanted the wheels. Glad I got it before the 4th of July. It was packed full of things from the 3rd to the 6th in direct sunlight all day long in 90+ degrees of heat and we only had to get one half bag of ice to refill it due to the melting of getting in and out of it. Well worth the money if you do a lot of summer activities or if you like to go camping!

> 3 dayEasy to open. Very heavy. Does not keep ice cold for long periods. Frozen items are good for about 3 hours. Definitely not as advertised or price.

> 3 dayWhen we first received the Yeti cooler, we set it a few feet away from our fireplace with a 20 pound bag of ice in it to see how long it would take for the ice to melt (we burned fires a couple nights that week). It took 7 days with nothing but the bag of ice in it. Fast forward to last weekend where we took it up to our ski condo and parked it in the unheated garage with 0 degree temps at night. We kept drinks (soda and beer) inside the cooler while food was stored in the fridge. We thought maybe the drinks would have frozen in the unheated garage within the Yeti, but they did NOT! The ice was frozen solid and we had to pick the beer/soda out, but the beer/soda itself was not frozen in the aluminum cans. The ice was still solid in the cooler when we returned 5 days later! LOVE this cooler and cant wait to take it camping! Im a little skeptical about the bear-proof lock and still plan to store the cooler and all food inside my Jeep overnight while camping. I certainly dont plan to test the bear proof claim by inviting one of them into our campsite! Not sure its worth $500, but I was able to get it free by converting work recognition points to Amazon gift cards. It is certainly awesome to have WHEELS and both the wheels and handle are very sturdy/tough, not like the flimsy ones on Coleman coolers.
