First used to monitor our garage fridge, but stupidly didnt setup the alarm strategy. The fridge failed and we lost tons of food. After the repair, bought 2 more for the house fridge and set them up properly. The house fridge revealed a performance problem that Im working to fix. Its fancy digital settings & display mislead you to expect its controlling properly, but the Yolink temperature graph seems to show otherwise.

I have been using home automation products for several years but I never found a good solution to monitor fridge and freezer temps. We have 4 freezers and I have purchased one of the smart wireless temperature sensors for each. I have found these to be reliable and its great that you can set up alerts in the YoLink app to send a message to your mobile device as well as sound an alert on the hub when it goes out of range. It doesnt update continuously more like every couple minutes or degrees of change so it gives you time to put away groceries without driving you crazy but if you accidentally leave a door slightly open it notifies you quick enough that you cant drive too far away when leaving the house before you are notified.

This worked great for 9 months. Stopped working. Contacted customer service (I use that term loosely) they gave me the run-around. Did nothing to solve my problem gthey finally sent, and this is true, a message that said, Have a great day. If you get a usnit that wokrs, youre good, but if you dont, sorry.

My kids keep leaving the fridge open. Not everyday, but every few months. I am very happy with YoLink’s flood/water and temperature sensors, which have been super reliable and also trigger Alexa routines I can set up. I ordered these last morning. They arrived in the evening. I literally had to open the box and scan the barcode at the back with the YoLink app and I was all set. I stuck one in my basement freezer and one in the basement fridge. It took several hours for the temperature reading to equalize to the actual temperature - there’s a bit of inertia to the temperature detection. Once it stabilized, it matched the reading on my infrared thermometer and my digital probe that I use for grilling. Likes: Easy to set up, very good range. Stores historical readings in the device which are viewable on the app. Useful to see the peaks and dips in fridge temps or house temps. The YoLInk app lets you trigger alerts (from the app) when the temperature deviates from a specified range. It also sends you emails (lets say you are traveling - you could have a friend or neighbor get an email!) Dislikes: Alexa will not let you trigger a routine based on temperature alone. I had my flood sensors set up to announce to my Echos that I had a flood in a specific area of the house.

I am using this product to monitor the temperature in my chicken coop. I really only care about cold temperature to prevent frozen pollo. I was able to set up a cold temperature alert that goes to my phone. There is no history though, in that if you lose WiFi to the device it registers no temperature until your WiFi is back. I thought it would record the temperature at the sensor and update the app when it came back online. It is great for the price. It only updates in hour intervals so if you want to monitor something more often I would suggest another product or possibly another app could poll the sensor more frequently.

I was very surprised how easy this was to set up. It worked in honestly about 2 minutes. The long battery life is a huge plus, and its quite accurate after testing it against known conditions. About 10 minutes after opening the box Id already bought more. My only VERY small complaint is no dark-mode in the App. This works great with Google assistant. I use it so I can ask what the temp is outside and get a real answer, not one for my area code. It integrates into IFTTT quite nicely. The temperature sensors are -not- wifi connected, to be clear. The hub takes Ethernet or links to Wi-Fi, but, the sensors dont.

Another essential device for remote monitoring, and takes seconds to add to an existing YoLink network. Has an easy to read local display, and is nicely living on the back wall of our vacation home fridge. Set the temp and RH limits on the app, and now I’ll know if the fridge fails or someone leaves the door open.

Well worth the money I paid, the health inspector loves this system. I can monitor my temps, get alerts or turn them off, I can look at history and see the refrigeration cycles and consistency of the units. Ive caught problems before they destroyed product twice now by just paying attention to patterns.

I use several YoLink sensors to monitor for leaks and these for monitoring our refrigerators while we are traveling. I can check the condition of things around the house from anywhere on my phone. Gives me piece of mind along with my security cameras.
