I needed to replace my existing air house. I decided to give this one a try. It was impressive as to how small they were able to coil this to get it inside the box. It is decently flexible and easily uncoiled. Because all my current compressor connections and tools have quarter inch fittings I had to utilize the included smaller connectors. Everything I needed to covert this to quarter inch was included, including the Teflon tape. The hose and fittings are all high-quality and were very easy to work with. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

This is a great addition to a shop using air tools that work better with a high airflow. The 1/2 diameter allows the higher airflow to get to those tools to allow them to work at their maximum potential. I use this with my impact hammer and impact wrench and can tell a big difference when using it as compared to the 1/4 lines. It also comes with the hardware needed to use 1/4 adapters if that is what you want to use, but the maximum use would be to use the pre-installed 3/8 adapters.

I got this hose to use on a 7.5 HP compressor I use in my shop. I felt that some of my air tools, especially my air buffer and grinders, dont run at full capacity using my 3/8 hoses. I have tried the high volume disconnects, and they didnt seem to help. As a test, I ran my buffer at full with one of my 3/8 hoses, then connected this 1/2 hose and ran it again. Unfortunately, I dont have a tachometer for the buffer, but the sound difference was impressive, as was the increase in power of the tool. This is definitely worth it for volume, plus its very flexible compared to the other hoses so I am not fighting the hose when I use the tool. A good hose to have.

I love the fact that this hose doesn’t kink and lacks a bias. One of my current hoses always wins the wind-up battle because of how stiff it gets. This hose is super easy to manipulate. It comes with a male and female quick-connect couplers. Great quality and a welcome addition to my garage compressor.

Swapped this hose in my harbor freight retractable hose reel. This hose is far superior, more durable, and flexible than the previous hose. It came with a bunch of fittings and adapters that made the swap a breeze. Not 100% sure what its made out of but I think it will last a very long time. The quick-connect adapter in the 2nd picture is really nice. The quality surpasses anything Ive used in the garage at home. Again a very well made hose that works great. Its been used daily for almost 2 months, no complaints at all. Highly recommend.

I used this on my 60 gallon 240v compressor. Mine is the 1/2 version going from 1/2 tank to 1/2 filters & regulators for optimal flow. From there, I do step it down to 3/8 hose. But my main concern was having no restrictions to and through the filters. Its firm but flexible enough for the short run. The bend restrictors are nice, even though this piece in my air setup stays put. Good quality fittings and hose, and good price.

Came with everything I needed for 1/4” fitting and hooking to my hose reel. Was skeptical of the PVC mix construction, but seems durable and supple even when cold.

I used this to connect an industrial hose reel to shop air plumbing. this is well priced for a 1/2 lead hose and includes the 3/8 industrial couplers. I cant see the point in using 1/4 connecters for 1/2 hose so was very happy to see the large coupler and plug. Rather than having 2 quick connects I threaded this directly to the reel and put the coupler in the shop plumbing to connect the reel. I was disappointed to see this had an end folded over in shipping leaving a kink, but when connected to air pressure it goes away and appears none the worse for it even though it is still obvious when not pressurized. The should allow high flow and last for years.

GOOD VALUE, GOOD OVERALL PRODUCT.

There are those jobs where the long air hose is not needed. For me, that is putting air in tires, car or fat tire e-bike, along with the occasional connection to an airbrush. In those cases, this hose is more than adequate and could take the abuse for other more demanding jobs. I have no complaints having used this hose and just glad to have this on hand for my smaller jobs.
