A lot of these reviews speak tot he poor quality of the packaging. I can attest to that, as its essentially a deconstructed box with no padding, no foam, nothing. Flat things crinkle, and this cage is a thin metal. But I cant blame the product for that, its the sellers fault. [Natural Dog and Cat was mine] I ordered it for my rat home, a large aquarium with a plastic lip. The cover fits snugly, slightly pinching the walls, providing a bit of a weak clamp so it stays. Airflow is great, the quality is decent, but I bought it for its price, so Im greatly satisfied, and so are my rats. [so far the screen seems to be doing very well in denying their attempts to pop it out and escape]

We have a 55 gallon tank. 48x13x20. This fits perfectly. It is so nice to not have to take the entire lid off, or slide it around just to reach in. Was also received very fast

It is better than the typical one piece screen cover that needs to be partially removed so you can feed or access your critters. I think if you dont research an item before you buy it or read other reviews to get an idea of what youre getting, then the only bad review should be given to yourself for being lazy. If the item arrives broken, is that the manufacturers fault or the person who packaged it or the delivery company. If you elect not to get the shipping insurance, guess whos at fault? Im tired of reading reviews with bad ratings or mediocre ratings because the item arrived broken or the person thought he/she was getting this and got that instead. The same amount of time it takes to blame someone else for your incompetence you can spend researching.

Fits perfect on my tank!! Love it!!

I was really worried I was going to have to make a custom cover for my new 55 gallon aquarium that I am using for our bearded dragon. But I stumbled on this and it fits perfectly. The hinge top is fantastic and very convenient. I set the larger dome on a stick-on holder that suspends it a couple inches above, and the smaller 5.5” mini dome for night heat fits perfectly on one half of this cover, so I can affix it with springs and still easily open the front half to feed, clean and pick up the beardie. Great purchase and very fair price.

I was hesitant to make this purchase for my 55 gallon tank but it ended up fitting like a glove! I have a home with all types of animals & this was a temporary fix for where my guinea pig was. It opens easily enough you dont have to fight it but not easy enough for any critters to get out without a little trouble. Now I feel comfortable being able to put lizards in the aquarium without the top getting too hot or melting. Definitely a relief!!

This cover worked but came bent on one end, you get what you pay for. I couldnt find an alternative so I straitened it, looks OK but not new.

I have a very large tank for my bearded dragon. I had a hard time finding a cover for the tank since it was originally a tank for fish breeding and resorted to a make-shift chicken wire cover for the last several years. I finally found this one on my amazon recommendations. I was relieved to find that it fits perfectly, looks much nicer than chicken wire. It is great quality and easy to open and close and I am confident that my lizard will not be able to escape. Even though my lizard is the most well-behaved beardie on my planet.
