Ive never understood why more people dont try these for steaming vegetable, maybe they dont know about them. The stores that used to carry them no longer do, I can only imagine that they werent selling. However, the are the greatest invention ever for cooking vegetable! They dont melt like normal baggies and all instructional times for various vegetables are on the bag. Most are 3-4 minutes and they steam vegetables perfectly.

Before Ziplock came out with steamer bags we used regular bags and cut holes in them to steam all of our vegetables. We were thrilled when they introduced the steamer bags and everyone who eats at our house goes home with a few to try and quickly become customers. When we can not find them locally we simply order them from Amazon.

I love these steamer bags * was so glad to find them online at a decent price since they are no longer in our Houston stores.

I tried to find these locally and no one carries them any more. I found them here and I was so happy! These are a quick easy way to cook fresh vegetables and have them come out just right. They do not list every veggie on them though. I had to look up how long to steam brussels sprouts and they came out perfect! Not over cooked not undercooked! Perfect!

These are the easiest and most convenient microwaveable bags on the market. I use them almost daily to steam my fresh vegetables and they (the vegetables) always come out perfect. My only complaint is that a long time ago, there was a large size bag, big enough to hold three ears of corn. For some reason, they stopped manufacturing this size bag. Wish they would do it again, sure miss this size.

Works very well on a wide variety of items. It is quick, easy and effective.

Fortunate to find them again. Use them regularly especially for fresh vegetables....they steam quickly .... no mess...ideal for two people. I did find them difficult to open.
