I hate hangers that break. These seem to stand up to my kids ripping the clothes off, will the hanger is attached to the rod. I haven’t found any busted hangers in the kids closets for a while. I think that’s a good test. I’m sure eventually they will start to break ( I have boys ) but so far so good. I will buy these again

(Update: The hanger company re-contacted me and indicated they would issue a partial refund. So company ended up offering nice customer service.) First of all let me just say I love these hangers. I get to hang up more stuff and they really look nice. My only disappointment was in how I received them. The box they came in was quite beat up looking and had been taped back together on the sides. When it arrived I could see the hangers through the top torn portions of the box. The hangers, however appeared to be fine; so I hung up several of my clothes on them but when I had gotten to hangers at bottom of the box I found that one hanger was broken. Since I had already used most of the other hangers I wasn’t going to bother with returning the whole package because of the one hanger. I did try to contact the company to see if they could possibly replace just the one broken hanger but was told that since I was still in the return time frame I would have to return the whole box. Like I said though I decided against returning the whole box just because of the one hanger and I don’t really believe the box that these all came in is useable again anyway. I have written this review mainly to tell folks to check out all of the hangers before using them just in case any of them are broken. That way if you find a broken one; the product can be returned easier. Despite my experience with the boxing and the one broken hanger I have to say overall though that these hangers themselves are wonderful!

These are amazing hangers and really add a luxe feel to any wardrobe. Their sleek design has saved a ton of space in my closet, and I don’t have to worry about my clothes slipping and sliding off of hangers. That said, I saw reviews where people tried wiping them off with a damp cloth or complained about the velvet transfer to their wet clothes. (I’m about to get on a soap box here.) These hangers are NOT meant to get wet in any capacity. They’re strictly for hanging dry clothes. The material WILL transfer to your damp clothes if they’re used to hang items to dry. Don’t try it - and don’t complain about the product or negate stars since it’s not being used as intended. If you read about the product prior to purchase (as you should), the manufacturer explicitly says to keep the hangers dry - even a cleaning wipe will make the material transfer and rub off. I use these hangers on blouses, camisoles, sweatshirts, jackets, sweaters, button downs, my husband’s shirts, our jeans, dress pants, and my dresses. They’re incredible quality and last season after season. With prior hangers, I’d find clothing items on the closet floor, or I’d have space issues. These have completely remedied any of those issues. I’ve bought several boxes, and they have yet to disappoint.
