> 3 dayPuncture end worked really well as expected. The cable connector feature for my application worked really well for my application. I was inserting a barbed fitting into a hose if you put your thumb and forefinger finger as shown in the pictures and press in at a slight angle towards the underside of the tool it pushed in the barb quite easily. There were reviews saying it didn’t work for them but in my application it worked very well.

> 3 dayThis tool was key to connecting the main line to the offshoots in my new water irrigation system. The pointy end easily poked the holes needed in the thick main line. Once the hole is made, inserting the smaller lines into the holes is really quite difficult so I tried using the opposite end of this tool (watch the videos on the product page to get an idea of what I mean). It’s a bit clumsy at first (as you have to hold it at just the right angle) but I definitely did end up using it for that second step too. Some cheaper tools just poke the hole, but I’m glad I sprung for this one since it helped me with the insertion step as well. Love my irrigation system and glad this is in my toolbox.

> 3 dayVery sharp and will easily put a hole in the tubing with little effort. If you are not careful it can poke a hole through the other side. Connectors pop in easily and their are no leaks where tubbing was connected.

> 3 dayI wanted to upgrade my sprinklers for my flower bed on my new home. Installing a drip system is not rocket science so I bought this tool to assist in puncturing the hole in the main line. I use tools for a living so I can normally figure out how a tool functions and get it to work. Puncturing the line was not a problem, but when it came time to use the insertion part on the back of the tool the fitting kept slipping out. Maybe I was doing something wrong but after many attempts I just used my hands and force to do the job. There are other tools on the market for a little more money and if I attempt this again I will invest in a tool that is better for getting the fittings connected easier.

> 3 dayIm not sure that Rain Bird 1/2 inch drip tubing is really made to have emitters pushed directly in by a human. Making a hole first with this tool really helps.
