> 3 dayThese are like other import automatic center punches Ive used. Fits nicely in the hand. The punch is a bit wobbly in the handle, but it gets the job done. Its made of carbon steel, not SS. There is no real spring tension adjustment, it just screws apart and back together. Not sure what youd need to adjust the tension for, anyway. Two of these cost less than the sales tax on the premo US made one these are made to look like. No comparison, of course, but I used one of them to make multiple dimples in a sheet metal plenum for the center pivot of a compass so I could mark take-off holes. It did the job just fine.

> 3 dayThis offer was for 2 identical punches at a low price. Very handy to have in 2 different locations. I dont know how long they will last, time and use will tell.

> 3 dayOur punches worked as intended. We had no problems. The springs were resistant and did not catch. Will hopefully last a long time.

> 3 daykarmiero 2 Pc Automatic Center Punch Remarkably, both of the spring-loaded automatic punches worked the first time. The grip is easy to maintain. First, I tried various types of wood. The pressure to activate the punch is minimal. Each time it scribed a hole mark. I then went to metals such as aluminum and steel. The steel required spring adjustment to get a good visible hole. The punch never slipped and was accurate. The tools are easy to assemble and disassemble. Well manufactured, and no detectable flaws. Excellent value.

> 3 dayI really like these centering punches. Ive been working on a project that involves drilling dozens of holes in mild steel. My old punch (another automatic) never left a satisfying dimple to start a drill bit. It would leave a mark to line things us, but it wasnt deep enough to ensure that the bit wouldnt wonder. Well not these punches! The point on these punches is sharp and suepr hard. The spring has a terrific punch to it and is strong enough to get a good start in any metal or wood surface. My drill bits of various sizes were always right on center following the dimple from these punches. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayGiven the cost I didnt expect a high caliber tool, but I figured since there would be *two* of them I would at least wind up with 1 usable tool. I was wrong. The first punch never fires and is functionally just an awl. The second punch fired *1* time and immediately became stuck so now its functionally a paper weight. I could likely find a way to fix it but Id rather not spend time fixing a tool before its first real use. Will return and purchase something else.
