Greater than one weekEven though this oil is relatively cheap, it does the job of oiling very well. I have used it so far for a sliding window screen and the results were great. Good value for the money.

> 3 dayI used this product to oil my window fan, unfortunately i used the regular black 3 in 1 in it some years ago as it was really hot and i needed a fan, unfortunately i kind of forgot about it having detergent oil in it and used it for another 4 years, it was too far gone as it was making electrical burning smells after just reoiling the bearings with this proper oil, i dont blame 3 in 1, if anything the wrong product i chose of theirs helped, that fan lasted 4 more years and it was dead 4 years ago. I have other fans like my crofton tower fan and my honeywell turboforce fan i will not hesitate to continue to use this product on!

> 3 dayIt’s worth mentioning that everyone here is familiar with the Original 3 in 1 multipurpose household oil blend (black and red) and I’ve learned a few things today. I saw a video saying that you can’t use the original blend for bearings because it’s a detergent and it will only last you a few days whereas this blend oil is NOT a detergent. The 4 images that both bottles show what objects to be used for would be pretty much self explanatory. The way I see it now, the original blend is just a penetrant and this oil is sort of a penetrant but it stays for a long time. Hence why it is SAE 20, meaning how thick the oil is and how much temperature it can withstand. Approximately 380 degrees maximum before the oil begins to dry out

> 3 dayGood for small machinery, keep cool has a tendency to overflow and out with heat as the oil gets pushed up the straw.
